H1 transfer after I140 approval

I have an approved I140 with employer A, if I transfer my H1 visa to employer B, I heard that I will get 3 years of extension by default since my I140 is approved. Is that right or does it depend on the client letter?

You are eligible to get 3 years of extension provided if you have the supporting documents which says your work at the client will be performed for 3 years...

 

Also this eligibility beyond 6 years is only possible if your I140 is not revoked by employer A
