Hi, I received email alert from vfshelpline that our passports are ready for delivery by courier/collection from VFS chennai. Will collect it from VFS-Bglre tomorrow. Thanks to all of you and am sure it will be positive end for all. This blog has been of great help.

Hi, I checked the courier, it contained all the docs submitted earlier and 221g blue to submit PP alongwith DS-160 confmn, 1-129, LCA and the form. I have submitted PP with docs. My case details: Interview date: 21st Sept 2011 (chennai consulate) Recd 221g green to submit employer docs, letter to USCIS etc. Submitted docs : 28th Sept 2011 Received courier : 25th Oct 2011 (221g blue with docs submitted earlier returned) Submitted PP : 31st Oct 2011. Why it is Blue form this time? Any idea? Hope it is all done.

Hi Veeras, So you got only the letter (221g) to submit your PP and not the return of docs submitted by you earlier. I got a call from VFS-bglre that there is a courier for me. I cant check it until next week when Iam back in bglre. Hope it is positive. Regards Sathyan

Hi, Updating my case here: Visa Interview Date @ chennai consulate : 09/21/2011 EVC Model, Passport, Docs returned with 221g 221g : Green Slip for all petitioner docs requested without passport Docs Submitted Date : 09/28/2011 Waiting for update... Its been a week now, Have not received any email on receipt of my case. I will wait for another week and then start calling the DOS number. This number is US phone no. so do I need to call during EST ? Can we not call chennai consulate and find out? I submitted docs to VFS bglre. They said there will not be any intimation of docs received by consulate and further i opted for any courier/mail from consulate to be held at VFS bglre so I can collect it from VFS office. Thnks

I also had my H1 interview in Chennai on Sep 21st at 10.45 am and was handed 221g green after less than 5 mins of interview. On seeing the slip, i observed that I had most of the documents mentioned. But I know it would be of no use telling this to the VO. So I quietly took it and returned. Now the wait begins... Lady VO: Asked for the folder me: gave her the green folder which had i797, i129, LCA and petitioner letter, client letter etc. vo: Have you been to US before ? me: Yes vo: how much is you salary? me:told vo: who is ur client? me: told vo:what are you going to do ? me: told abt the project in one line. vo: which location me: told vo: whos ur vendor me: told vo: what is your salary me: told Now she took the 221g green form and ticked 6 items in petitioner’s section asked to submit in VFS drop box and returned my passport alongwith all docs.t VFS drop box. Pls keep updating so we can know the status. I am planning to submit docs on Monday at Blgre drop box. Regards
