Submitted the requested doc again with ppt, lets see if there is a positive outcome and that it gets stamped. Hoping for the best, please help god Praying for all you guys waiting wid this 221g thing. I am sure all will be good. Pls keep your hopes alive

@shinujoy - since there was no activity from ur side for a long time, i thought u were already through n bck in us. I know its so painful but theres nothing much we can do about it...all we can do is be patient and hope for the best. Yes there's atleast a good sign in my case after so so long almost 6 months. lets see how that is gonna materialize.....lets hope for the best @cool_arian - ya really hoping the days ahead will bring real good news and that we all get the visa God, please help us all to get our visa, been so long please pleaseeee

@solmca3 - yes, your h1 has been denied by the consulate. Sorry about that. Yes your denied petition can be reaffirmed but thats gonna take long time 6-9 months and is not worth i guess...Next for u shd be try to get new h1 filed wid a different employer and go for interview again and hope for the best. remember this is not the end and options r there...good luck

An update from my side finally after 24+ weeks guys. I have been asked to submit the client letter again. I had already submitted this 6 months back and not sure why this has been asked again. Apart from this the mail states that my case is pending degree certificate checks. Not sure what this means. Any idea guys? See below the reply i got. What should i do guys? As per the US Consulate, your application is pending the submission of client letter and degree certificate checks. Please submit it to the nearest VFS centre

@cool_arian - i dont understand what's going on buddy. 24+ weeks for me and guess only we both are waiting for so long. Every time i call/mail, get the same standard reply that its in AP. feelin so bad man that we are still waiting and many guys have already made it :(

well to my knowledge if your visa appl is pending and u go with a new h1 then u have to/can withdraw previous appli in consulate itself. since ur case is denied i doubt ur previous application is still under process/valid

If its anything urgent and you need to travel somewhere then yes you can always ask your ppt back. If you file a new h1 then make sure to withdraw your current application from the consulate. Yes you can apply in any of the consulate if the 6 months rule doesn't apply

No updates frm my side buddy. I guess only we both are the only guys waiting since oct/nov in this thread. hoe all will be well by gods grace

It means that your case is under AP. this is a normal reply from consulate when a case is under 221g. All we can do is just wait until this gets resolved and hope for the best

If she said that she needs to verify your application then chances are that your case maybe put under AP. All you can do is hope for the best. keep us updated

Same here been waiting for 4+ months now. if docs wasn't asked then don't submit. At this point there's nothing much we can do rather than wait. hope all will be good and that we will get our visa stamping soon

I am also waiting since more than 4 months(18 weeks). i know the pain but there's nothing much we can do. just be patient and hope for the best. keep us updated and thx for posting your case details atleast now

@221gGreen_Oct - sorry to hear that buddy. its unfortunate, however dont give up. try calling DOS and ask for exact status
