  1. Hi All, My wife and I are planning to travel to Mexico for a 10 day vacation. Our H1 and H4 visas are expired (as per passport visa stamp) however, we have our H1/H4 extension approved till 2018. I have I-797 approval notice from USCIS as well. My question is, can we travel to mexico with expired visa stamp..? Will we have any issues upon re-entering the US..? I read online about automatic revalidation (if we travel to Mexico or Canada for 30 days or less). Is this rule applicable for H visa holders...? Any feedback on this will be greatly appreciated! Thanks,
  2. Hi All, I have a question on applying for my wife's H4 EAD. I work for a large US employer since last 5 years. I have approved I140 with the employer as well. My H1 and my wife's H4 visas are expiring in September and my company filed for H1/H4 extension in April. Now, I received my H1 extension approval (which expires in 2018) however my wife's H4 extension is still in process and the lawyer at my company says it may take days, weeks or months to get H4 extension approved after principal applicant's H1 is approved. So, my question is, do we have to wait until my wife's H4 is approved or is it ok to file for her H4 EAD based on my H1b approval Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  3. Hello, I need an expert advise regarding filing for my wife's (current status: H4) EAD. I have an approved I-140 from my company however, our current H1/H4 visas are expiring on 09/22/2015. My company has already filed I-129/I-530 to extend our H1/H4 visas but I am not sure whether we will get approval by May 26th since the petition was filed in April. My question is, do I need to wait for the approval of our H1/H4 visa before filing for my wife's EAD or is it OK to just file for EAD on May 26th. Any input will be greatly appreciated.
