Hi @Arina This is about my H1B extension with same employer, same client and same project. This may help. The below are the details about my H1B extension petition. Received the physical copy in USPS mail to my physical address : 05/18/2020 Things vary from case to case. But I heard from my employer that he got approval in 2 weeks of time for few employees in our company. All the filings were done with Nebraska Service Center. Hope this helps. 5. Hi aloo88.. i responded to your question on the thread which I created. As I mentioned over there, the below are the details about my H1B extension petition. USCIS Received my H1B Exension application: 04/22/2020 Issued Receipt Notice: 04/23/2020 Received the Receipt Notice (soft copy) from my employer: 04/28/2020 Case was Approved on: 05/05/2020 Received the soft copy of Approved H1B I-797: 05/07/2020. Things vary from case to case. But I heard from my employer that he got approval in 2 weeks of time for few employees in our company. All the filings were done with Nebraska Service Center. Hope this helps. Good luck and all the best.

  7. I want to share with people here about my H1 extension got approved in 2 weeks. My employer applied for my H1 extension on 04/22/2020. The USCIS issued Receipt Notice on 04/23/2020. I checked my case status in uscis.gov/casestatus on May 6 2020 and the status was shown as Case was approved. I got my soft copy of approved I-797 from my employer on May 7th 2020. The extension was only for 1 year since the client letter was given for only 1 year project. I am good till June 2021. I filed on regular processing and things worked out for me in 2 weeks of time which I didn't expect. My filing was with Nebraska Service Center. I am EVC model. I have been in US since 2006 and have been in H1 all the time. Got I-140 approved with same employer and keep extending my H1. Hope this helps to the people here who are planning for their H1 extension.

  14. I appeared for H1B visa interview at Chennai consulate on 07/23/2013. I am in EVC Model. I have been staying in US since 2006. This is my 7th year extension through my GC I-140. I was asked to all of my original previous I-797s right from the day 1 of my US stay. I shown all the original I-797s. They verified all of my I-797s for the years from 2006 to 2013. They made copies of all of my I-797s and returned the original back to me. Anyhow I was issued 221 g - Blue slip by saying that they want to go for Additional Administrative Processing. I am waiting to hear from them. I have completed 97 days so far. If you don't have original I-797, at least the copy of your previous I-797 will do I guess. But I am not sure whether the consulate will be satisfied with copy of your previous I-797 instead of original.
