  1. My brother and his family immigrated to the United States in Apr-2019 on the I-130 petition my father filed. They travel to the US once a year and stay about 25-30 days. So far, they didn't have any issues, but this time customs officer (at Abu Dubai) airport asked them why you are not staying longer and kept returning to India in 30 days. In addition, she also noted how many months they stayed outside of the US during each trip in the passport and in the system. They don't want to give up their green cards and permanent residency status. My brother and sisters-in-law are currently employed by the family's own business and filing tax returns every year and maintaining bank activities. They have one daughter who goes to school in India, and she is in 3rd grade. Has anyone experienced this issue? Is there an option to be legally able to stay outside of the US for 10-11 months without having to surrender a green card? Any kind of advice or experience will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!
