Employer is not recommended to visit India now, what could be the best option for me to recapture 136 days ?

Hello, My H1B max-out is on 04/17/2022 and my perm filed on 08/30/2021 ,current approval process is taking 5 months and if i get an audit for additional 6 months will take to get an approval. My Employer is requesting to move out from US for 136 days so that i can again come back before my max-out date and apply H1B extension for another year. My Visa is expired on 2018, travelling out side US need to go back for visa stamping with current situation in Embassy in India - is it recommended to travel India for 136 days and visa stamping ? or traveling Canada / Mexico with shorter trips less than 30 days is recomnded ? if i dont recapture 136 days and if i crossed my max out date , if i leave US and still i am eligible to come back after my PERM approval ?
