Hi , I am currently employed on L2-EAD status. My spouse has applied for L1 extension and is pending approval. I have also applied I-539. My EAD is expiring soon. As I cannot apply for EAD renewal until I get my I-539 approval, and I currently work for a non-profit organization(higher education), what are the available options to continue my employment with the current employer? If I apply for H1 cap exempt, is my L2-EAD work time is considered against the 6 year max time usually considered for H1? Can I continue to work as I receive my H1 filing receipt
