I would like to know if anyone has got approval on I-765v EAD which is a work permit for abused spouses of non-immigrants? I am unable to understand if this work permit will allow me to stay in USA after divorce is granted, as one looses the dependent immigration status after divorce?

Hi I'm also from India.... Currently I'm on H4 visa. My husband was recently arrested on domestic violence Nd pressed with criminal charges.. Can u pls guide me with I 765v form and what plans can be made further.
