  1. 11 months. Though I have not received any update on the decision yet.
  2. Case status updated to - Case Was Relocated From Administrative Appeals Office To USCIS Originating Office. On January 9, 2020, the Administrative Appeals Office (AAO) transferred your Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker, to the USCIS office that made the original decision on your case. That office will mail you our decision or send you a request if it needs something from you. Not sure how to interpret this update.
  3. Hello, I need some help with my current visa situation. I am currently on H4 (no EAD) and in the process of interviewing with companies. My previous employer had filed an H-1B in April 2018 (while I was on F-1 STEM OPT) which was denied in December 2018 and is currently pending with the appeals office. I wanted to know if a new employer wants to file a H4-H1B COS petition on my behalf would that need to be filed as a cap subject petition? I read on one of the portals that H4 visa holders who applied for an H1B visa in the past and were selected in the H1B visa lottery are exempt from H1B cap. Is this valid only for approved H-1B petitions? Also, would the position start date have to be October? Thanks for your help!
  4. No updates yet. My attorney mentioned it is very unlikely that I will receive any update before Feb 2020 (based on their past experience).
  5. No update yet on the appeal. Over 7 months now!
  6. New I-129 Petition denied in December 2018 after RFE. My employer filed an appeal with CSC in January'19. On 14 and 15th February, I recieved two back to back updates on my old receipt number. #1: On February 14, 2019, we sent your Form I129, PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER, to the Administrative Appeals Office (AAO) for review. #2: On February 15, 2019, we transferred your Form I129, PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER, to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. No updates since then on the case. Anyone who has seen similar updates and can throw some light on what to expect next (if at all)? Thanks!
