    NVC Resubmitted

Hello We had to resubmit I864EZ one page of Signature which was earlier signed electronically and so NVC asked to sign with PEN and scan and submit. That was done end of Feb and we have not heard from NVC yet again. so normally how long it take to review again ? Also we had applied for UAE Embassy for Interview in petition but we may have to move back to India soon (lost the job) so how can we change the consulate to India ? (NVC is showing all other documents as accepted and this I864EZ showing submitted) all fees also paid for DS260 also ..
  2. Hello All, I have simple case but due to multiple opinions it becomes complicated. Most of the articles highlight the exceptions more so people get worried. In My case, We are Indian National (me, wife and daughter) and working at UAE on work visa. We all hold B1/B2 for many years and visited US few times. Elder daughter is staying at USA On H4 visa. Sometime in May 2018 we received a marriage proposal for my younger daughter from our community who is US Citizen and working at USA, and now we are confused on various options available for them to file petition. K-1 OR I-130 OR I-480 consular processing. We prefer to have a legal and ritual marriage done in presence of both the parents at India (in small scale) and then they file the petition and once the visa is approved, we get into more formal marriage ceremony. Because as per our culture they dont stay together unless there is formal marriage done. Now can anyone guide properly on this? Boy and his parents are coming to India in December and we are also going to be there for legal/ritual marriage in presence of only close family members.
  3. What is the best way for Indian spouse to move USA who is planning to get married with US Citizen? Either getting married at India and then file petition or going to US on existing B1/B2 and get married at USA followed by Status change?

Indian Citizen marrying to US Citizen

Thanks for the reply. It is till a time as marriage is yet to be held. I was thinking can we have court marriage at India first so I130 can be filed and then once we get the Immigration visa, we get formal marriage so they can go together back to US. After the court marriage she wont go and will not stay together as per indian culture.
  5. Dear Friends My daughter she is Indian citizen and holding B1/B2 for 10 years and traveled few times to US as my elder daughter is residing at US. Now recently we have received a marriage proposal from one of the marriage portal and after two months of communication, she traveled once to see him in person and now it seems we are ok to go ahead for the marriage. We live in UAE. She is also in UAE and working. What is the Best option to file an application for my daughter (The Groom who is US Citizen will file) so her processing is legal and what is the approximate time frame to process the visa. and during this processing can continue to travel to US or not? Expecting some experienced reply as on internet many conflicting views are found. Thanks in advance
