  1. Hello All, I have a valid H1B visa approved (stamped as well) until Jan 2020. In May 2019, I traveled to Canada for two weeks via car and returned to US via land using Port Huron port of entry. I was not given a I 94 card or any stamp on my passport while entering. However, when I check the I94 travel history on website, I see an entry for May 16th,2019 is marked as shown below. When I check the most recent I 94 results, I see most recent date of entry as 2018-12-25 Can you please advise if it is okay for me to not have an I94 or a mark on my passport for my recent travel from Canada via land. Kindly advise.

    H4 - F1 - H4 change

Hello all, I have come to US on a H4 visa and converted to F1 ( completed masters ) and again switching to H4. I am converting to H4 by going to visa stamping in canada rather than applying for COS application with USCIS. Can anyone suggest if there is any documentation we need to get from USCIS or is it just supporting docs along with copy of I 797 of H1B holder ?
  3. Hello All, I am on F1-opt status now and planned to convert to H4 by going to US Consulate in Ontario,Canada. I paid the visa fee but couldn't find any slot until Aug 29th. Does the availability change frequently? Kindly advise.
  4. Hello all, I am currently on F1 Opt expiring on June 30 and this is my final year to apply for H1B. My Employer is filing for H1B this year. My husband has I 140 approved with his current H1B valid until Jan 2020. 1) Scenario 1: If my H1B gets picked up before June 30 and I receive a receipt number, can I legally stay beyond June 30 until a decision on H1B is made? 2) Scenario 2: If my H1B is not picked up by June 30, can I go to Canada for Stamping on H4 so that I can get back to US on H4 since my husband is on H1B? 3) Scenario 3: If I do not know by June 30 if my H1B was picked in the lottery, and I go to canada to get converted to H4 visa and during this time, If my H1B get's picked, does it have any impact on either H1B / H4 since I stepped out of county while H1B application is pending decision ? Kindly advise. Regards, Raj

    H1B Stamping

Hello there, I am in US currently and my current I 797 validity is until Jan ,2020. I am going to visa stamping next month in Hyderabad using the same I 797. Do you forsee any issues with going to stamping with just one year of remaining period? Kindly advise.
  7. Hello there, I am currently on F1 OPT. My husband has I-140 approved. I am planning to convert to H4 EAD so it is easy to find a job rather than on OPT. After converting to H4 EAD, when my employer decides to file for H1B application next year, would I be considered under masters quota since I have a Masters degree? Please advise.?
