I want to get my visa transferred to H4 and also need H4 EAD, what is the current wait time for it?
Also do you think if there can be a job loss - to receive H4 and H4 EAD (delay) not together.

I have not got confirmation if my application has been selected in the lottery for the new H1-B 2021.
At this point, I am thinking of moving to H4 and getting H4-EAD as I am eligible for it.
- I am concerned that if my H4 visa is approved before I get H4 EAD, I would be out of work status.
- Since my F1 OPT is valid until Jan 2021, is there a provision where I can ask USCIS to start my H4 and H4-EAD at a future point in time - say Feb 2021?
Can you please advise what should be the best course of action?

How do you transfer from Cap-exempt to non-exempt? Is it a wise decision to move (given current situations) since non-exempt company has better work in my case.
Also for my future prospects, if I plan to move to a non-exempt company; how will I get an employer (except for consultancies which do not give good chances of H1 approval) who files H1 visa prior to me joining to the company and also wait for a couple of months for me to even start working (April to October).

Due to a family emergency, I need to travel to India. I have graduated on F1 this December 2017 but have F1 visa approved until 21st July 2021. I have applied for OPT which will start in Feb 2018. Currently, I am searching for a job and do not have a job offer in hand.
Will I face any issues when I travel back to US? If yes, what are my options?

Hi,
I would like to get visa transferred to H4. Can I get it filed through my employer or is it mandatory for my spouse's company to file it.
I think because of my domain, I might have a better chance of getting it approved faster.
