H4 EXTENSION APPROVED AFTER H1B APPROVED

Is there a way I can verify my status from USCIS? whether I am on H1 or H4? I was wondering if there is way to check that online or call.
  2. Hello, I was initially on H4 visa dependent on my spouse. My H1B was filed in April 2018 and it just got approved on 2/18/2019. While I was waiting on H1B to get approved, my spouse's H1B was filed for extension along with my H4 extension i-539 in December 2018. That extension got approved 2/25/2019. Question: Does this make my valid status as H4 since it got approved after my H1B got approved, or am I still on H1B status? In order to go back to H1B status, I have sent a letter to USCIS to withdraw/discard H4 extension. How can I go back to the H1B status apart from waiting for USCIS to respond to my letter? Regards, Palak

    Visitor visa extension

Our parents are visiting us on Visitor visa (Multiple Entries expiring after 10 years) their valid i-94 is for 6 months. we would like them to stay over more than six months. Can they do that and get their i-94 renewed if they visit Canada or Mexico for a week and come back to USA?
  5. My company is filing for my H1B extension in a few weeks time, previous H1 B expires on 5/15/2019. My spouse is on H4 dependent, visa until 03/30/2020 (visa stamped). We never have filed i-539 before for his extension. He also has H4 EAD approved until 5/15/2019. Questions: Do we need to file H4 (i539) for my spouse when I apply for H1 extension? If yes, can we file i-129 (H1 B extension), i- 539 (H4 extension) and i- 765 (H4 EAD renewal) all together? What documents are required for i-539, we have never filed for this before for my spouse. Best Regards, P
  6. My husband applied for his H4 EAD first week of June, it is been 16 weeks already and its is still in processing stage, the case status page shows " case received" . We have sent two inquiries already on the website. They have replied to the first one saying "your application is with an officer". Is there any other way we can contact the USCIS to ask for updates? Is it supposed to take this long? The processing time as stated on the website is 90 days. Are they stalling all applications these days?

    H1B and H4 Visa stamping

My H1B (I-797A) is valid until May 2019. My visa stamping is expiring Sept 2017. My husband is on dependent H4 visa and his visa stamp (in his passport) expires in march 2020 . We are travelling to India in November 2017, so I will go for my H1B visa stamping (in my passport) in India. Does he need to get his visa stamped along with me? Also, we noticed in H4 visa stamp, my H1B receipt number (EAC # or WAC # etc..) is not printed. Is this a mistake? Should the H4 visa (in the passport) have the primary H1B's receipt # printed? If this is a mistake, how to rectify it? I hope to hear soon from you.
