  1. Hello All, Quick question for you all. Is it possible to travel outside the country without getting a stamping if I have all necessary paperwork? I have been interviewing with a company in Germany and they wish to fly me in to Germany for the final interview step. I have a H1B visa, but I have not gotten it stamped yet and I do not have the time before the interview to get it stamped. Can someone please suggest if there is a workaround? Thank You for your time in advance.

  9. Hello All, I graduated on December 2016. My OPT started January 2017 and valid till January 2018. My company filed for my H1b. Received RFE. Since I still have 17 month OPT left can I file for my OPT extension at the same time that my H1B application is pending approval for RFE as a backup. Thank You All.

On OPT, Received RFE, Help required

Hello All, I am currently on OPT and received a RFE questioning: 1. Whether the position is actually a Specialty Occupation (as required for H-1B); Apart from explaining my job descriptions and explaining how that is indeed specialty is there anything else that I can add to make sure my case is approved? Also, what are my options if I receive a second RFE or denial since I have OPT time remaining. Can I go ahead and file for OPT too at this moment? Please advise.
  11. Hello All, My employer has just shared Form I-797 C with me. My status still shows as CASE was Received on USCIS website. On the website it says: If you do not receive your receipt notice by May 11, 2017, please call Customer Service. Three questions: 1) When can I expect to receive the I- 797 form as per timelines this year? 2) Should I be asking my employer to share any more information at this point? 3) Any of you have received the approval notice yet? Please share timelines if you have. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Cheers!!
  12. Hello All, Can you please advise if I have to stay with my current employer for at least two months before moving to another once I transition to my H1B. I am on student visa now but my H1B has been picked up and will be in effect from October. Please advise if I have to stay with current employer for some time before making a switch. Thank in Advance !
  13. I am currently working for an employer who filed for my H1B. I was recently informed that my petition was picked up in the lottery. Talks are currently in progress with another employer who is ready for a H1-B transfer but wants to know how early I can join. Assuming my visa gets approved, when is the earliest that I can join the new employer, assuming that they file for transfer on October 1st. Thanks in advance for helping!
