  1. Hi all, I am working at client A from Feb 2018 and employer filed h1b amendment and was pending till date. My h1b extension was also approved for the same client and location in Jan 2019 but the amendment was still pending which was filed when old h1b is valid. Now I am travelling out of country and will be eligible for dropbox stamping. Will the amendment which is still pending for 500 days can have any impact on visa stamping?
  2. Hello All, My H1b visa with previous employer stamped is valid until Jan 2020. I changed employer after that and got my H1b petition extended. I want to go to India for vacation and not sure if I require visa interview after employer change with valid visa. US visa appointments website asked a questionnaire and shows that I am eligible for dropbox. Could someone suggest if I am really eligible for dropbox or interview is required? Thanks and appreciate your response.
  3. Hi, Employer filed h1b amendment (expiring Dec 2018) in March 2018 for location change. Extension was filed and approved in premium(for same location) and new I94 has validity until Dec 2020. Now I received RFE for amendment which was filed almost year ago. Does my approval for amendment effect the validity for new I94? Can I withdraw amendment petition as extension was approved for same client and same location? Please suggest.... Thanks!

    This happened for me too. I got RFE on Nov 30 and and had not responded yet but yesterday case status changed to "case was received"

  7. Hi All, I am having issues with my employer regarding pay as he not paying as per what we agreed. I work for client A in a project through EVC model. My status has been changed from F1 to H1 in dec 12 2016 while working in the same project.Also till now he hasn't shared I797 or attached I94 even after many requests. As he is not paying what I should get I immediately started transfer to another employer and working for same client. He has run the payroll for Jan month but money has not been deposited. He is suspicious about my change of employer and sent me termination notice which says my last day will be feb 15,2017 and says my he will deposit the money on feb 16. But I am not sure he is going to do that. I have stopped sending timesheets with the client as he is not paying me. My new employer has already filed a petition and will pay me on feb 15. If he terminates and runs the payroll for feb too without depositing money. Is it mandatory that I should submit timesheets of the client to get paid from my employer.Can I file WH4 form to make him pay. Can he escape citing timesheet as reason?
