    H1B amendment denial

Hello, I have a tricky situation here that I have my original H1B visa petition filed by my employer valid until Sep 2017 and I filed for H1 amendment in november due to the change of project & location and put in premium processing as it was important for me to go to home country. Unfortunately my amendment got denied due to lack of client letter as my client was not willing to provide the client letter. I am currently in India on vacation and I needed to go for visa stamping. Unfortunately my contract too got ended and there is no way to get the client letter even if I go for MTR. What will happen to my original petition? I don't have visa stamping yet. I have my pay stubs till december. If I start applying for jobs from India, once I get the offer do I need to file for amendment while in India or after coming to US? Can I go with this offer letter from client and vendor for stamping? It will be great if you offer some insight on this. Thanks!

  4. @Karthik & lavan, Any update on your case? Even mine shows reopened on Dec12th, California Service Center. Last year, when the case used to get reopened, they usually used to update immediately or within a week on 290B . Don't know how they will process this year.
