All non-emergency appointments in Mexico are cancelled from Mar 2020 onwards, Only emergency appointments folks were able to attend from last 1 year. Hopefully non-emergency appointments in Mexico resume soon within 1-2 months from now.

    Expediating Visa stamping (criteria)

Hi @pappu2003 Being a Physician, during current situation of COVID, you should be eligible for "emergency visa appointment" I believe you might not need to include your mother illness as reason too. Personally, i have guided some of my clients successfully for Emergency visa appointments - where they got stamped in single day in below locations with help of Emergency appointment(who are doctors, frontline workers during COVID on J1 visa) about the process as well as stamping in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico City, Hermosillo etc., Mexico in May & June 2020. Please feel free to email me at my username

Need advice re stamping in Canada

You can start process now as getting visa dates might be around 3 to 4 months from now in Canada (even before current visa expires or after your visa stamping in your passport expires) else you can attend in near by countries too like Mexico, which are available in June as of now As far as i know, Emergency appointments are allowed in Canada as of now. Regular appointments can start around June/July as of now (Hopefully COVID might get settled around by that time) for you to attend visa interview
  6. 1. Yes, you can have 2 DS 160's & 2 appointments & can attend 1 without any issues.(If asked, you can explain in current scenario that due to getting dates is tough / due to current cancellations, you can take chance of having parallel appointments) 2. Yes, you can

    H1 and H4 Extension Mexico

@B_mt +1 ; same answer to this question Additional Info for you @B_mt is : H4(dependents) always gets stamped based on primary candidates I-797A validity, H4 (Your son) will get stamped usually until your H1B- I797A validity. Though H4 extension(I-539) got approved through USCIS, it won't be used anywhere during stamping process. Hope this clarifies your doubt.

H1B TO H4 COS - Can we go to h4 visa stamping in Canada

As getting dates in canada is kind of tough, around > 5 to 6 months from now + getting canadian visitors visa is around 1 month process on top of that. If it's not possible (Ex: F1 to H1B stamping is not possible in mexico, canada or home country are options), i would not have said about that option too. Where as H4 to H1B (or) H1B to H4 stamping is possible anywhere, Not many folks know this info too Yes, I am service provider for visa services in mexico. Helped & guided many folks to get stamped from this forum.

H1B TO H4 COS - Can we go to h4 visa stamping in Canada

If you already had H1B stamping & expired or about to Expire & need to get H4 stamped (or Change of status in same H visa category) You can do it in Mexico too (along with canada or home country) FYI : H1B & H4 comes under same H visa category & many folks did get stamped in Mexico too & it's allowed. F1 to H1B stamping is not allowed in Mexico as both comes under different visa categories.

Available dates in Merida Consulate Mexico?

Only Merida location stopped offering visa dates to all Third country nationals. Those dates will never open. You can choose any location in mexico to attend visa interview.(Avoid Guadalajara location due to a specific 221g - DS5335 which 90% folks get & it takes 10-40 days to get it cleared)

    Ciudad Juarez Interview experience

+1, Either straight approval or get a 221g, They give our random 221g's & also take I-797 original & keep it with consulate until 221g clears

Any one been to GUADALAJARA, MEXICO for H1 Stamping

I have heard from many folks that in Guadalajara, This is what happened to them. VO say's you got approved. For very few folks, they end up with straight approval & no more additional info request. For majority folks, VO says they got approved too, but after they finish their visa interview & waiting in hotel. they will get an email asking for last 15 years address, work locations, etc., saying this is part of their regular check.(DS5335 - 221g) Which varies from 7 to 40 days to clear. I know one guy who is still waiting from past 40 days. so there are chances of that specific DS5335 - 221g over there, better to avoid, that is one reason why you can see alot of dates available there compared with any locations. These are the locations in order choose to attend visa interview based on good feedback + passport return timeline. ✅Do I need any Visa for travel to Mexico ? ✅what are the passport return timeline after attending Visa interview in Mexico ? ********** B = Border location:No need of any Visa; You can apply for FMM card online at below link and Travel www.mexicotouristcard.com ********** I = Interior location; You Need some sort of below countries visa to fly to Mexico(Valid US/Canadian/Japan/Schengen/European/ Mexico) or Australian passport holders) ********** Nogales(B) and Nuevo Laredo(B) same day after visa interview Hermosillo(I) & Tijuana(B) Next day after Visa interview Matamoros(B) 2nd day after Visa interview Monterrey(I) varies from 2-3 days after Visa interview Cuidad Juarez(B) varies from 1-2 days after Visa interview ********** Info by www.usvisastampinginmexico.com

Nogales visa stamping in November or December 2019

*This is how it works if you looking for specific date / sooner date in Mexico.* ✅Once you find out you are eligible to attend Visa interview in Mexico & you decide to get stamping done in Mexico. ✅1st thing to do is Visa fee payment, so you have option to choose best available dates /reschedule to better dates any number of times as soon as they are available. ✅Right now, for few locations, it might show as dates not available, but dates keep opening randomly ✅You can start the process and create ds160(no need to fill completely right now) for any specific location & make Visa fee payment. so you have more control over Visa dates And book the dates as soon as they open ✅Once you finalize location and dates, then you can submit ds160 to that specific location than the one you started (new update in ds160 to submit to any location that you want to go) ; make sure to submit ds160 within 30 days after creating it ✅Fyi, Same ds160 and same visa fee payment is valid for 1 year to attend visa interview anywhere in Mexico

  15. If VO said it's approved. you are good. Not many people know this info : When you check for status after attending visa interview. By default, it shows as Administrative processing. It's just a step before it changes to Issued. There is nothing to panic. It will change to "Issued" soon. Congrats on your Visa Approval !!!!!!!!!!!!!
