Hello SaiBB My case is very similar to yours. This was my 3rd stamping as well to recapture time spent outside the USA. My PERM is under process hence my I797 was only for 8 months extension. Only thing we can do is use your company lawyers to respond to any requests. FTE should be quick turnaround, I am also FTE for a big Tier 2 Supplier. What documents were you asked to submit?

Hello NikSai My interview was on Jan 8th. Got 221G yellow. Submitted all supporting documents to the consulate on Jan9th. Got clearance email on Jan 27th, Picked up passport on Jan 30th.

Any one who attend interview on 5th got their passport

Which Consulate? Toronto? -
It can take anywhere from 20 Days to 240 days. Use Lawyers to reply to any requests from USCIS. keep asking for updates. Provide all documents as quickly as possible after reviewing with lawyer

Hello, Sen all the relevant documents to the Consulate ASAP. If possible, use lawyers to send it. Ask Lawyer to reply to the consulate request on their letter head in affidavit format. Pretty much everything that was submitted for H1B petition should be sent. Again, use Lawyer to reply email........

Hello SaiBB, Go to the Consulate today and get an update. You can go between 1 and 2:30 PM. go to the outside counter on the right and ask whats the status. You have to keep asking for updates.

Guys, I got my Visa on Jan 30th as well. Interview Date was Jan 8th, 221G Yellow slip. My biggest recommendation is to get your Lawyers involved in responding to any request from the consulate. I had my lawyers send all the information Via email and also ask for updates. I believe this helped a lot and also shows that you and your company are serious about getting the issue resolved as soon as possible. Also emails showing Financial and Personal hardships will also help. Keep following up as much as possible. Best Regards Subrven1

Hello, There are lot of people in similar boat like you guys. There is a different thread for 221g's in Toronto. Just search for "Calling all 221g's in Toronto" and you will come across the thread. In their you will find cases similar to yours for 221g green, yellow, white. In almost all the cases, Passport was given back and Administrative review started. I got 221g Yellow on Jan 8th. I submitted passport yesterday. On average its about 30 day wait. EVC model could lead to longer wait times. http://forum.murthy.com/index.php?/topic/63337-calling-all-toronto-221gs/?hl=+calling++221g#entry247257
