MTR processing time for denied case

Hi All, My appeal was denied on June 11th :(
  2. Hi All, After the initial status on Aug 19th, my status changed to Post Decision activities 2 days back. Here is how it states : "On May 6, 2014, we mailed you a notice informing you that your I129, PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER, was reopened." This update was when checked with the Old EAC number, the new case number still is in Initial review. Does anybody have a clue regarding whether this is a sign for approval or another deniel?

MTR processing time for denied case

My appeal filed on Aug 19 is still in initial review, not even transferred to local office. No response for the e-request created. Wondering what to do next! I'm in nowhere now.
  5. H1 chaser and allstar- have both of you applied at VSC?
  6. No, mine is still in Initial Review : Initial ReviewOn August 19, 2013, we received this I290B NOTICE OF APPEAL TO THE COMMISSIONER, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case.
  7. Is there anybody here with Appeal (not MTR) filed at VSC on or after August? What's your case status now? Mine is still Initial review and its been 5 months, it was an appeal and not an MTR.

MTR processing time for denied case

@thejas28 and mtr_h1b - when I raised an e-request, I got a reply that due to privacy act, a beneficiary cannot be communicated the progress. I raised an e-request as 'applicant/petitioner' but used my email id. Is it how you also raised e-request?

MTR processing time for denied case

I raised an e-request for i290B for VSC but I got a response as below: "The status of this service request is: The Privacy Act, 5 USC Sec. 552a, and VSC policy prohibits release of information to someone other than the affected party. The affected party is typically the petitioner, applicant or attorney of record. Disclosures of processing times and general procedures relating to certain form types do not fall under the Privacy Act. However, information given to someone other than the affected party, such as the beneficiary, which relates to the specific processing or adjudication of a particular petition/application is prohibited by the Privacy Act and Service policy. In addition, only the petitioner or applicant may request a change of address or other changes be made to the record. We cannot process changes requested by the beneficiary or a third party." Could anyone of you let me know how you got a response? I selected "Applicant or Petitioner", the other option was "attorney". Which one did you all select? Please help.
  15. You would have your old request number for your I129 (the number you got when you applied for H1B back in April 2013) and a new request number for your I290b (appeal), so it looks like you said that it has moved to post decision for the new request number for I290b. I was suggesting you to look at your old request number. My old request number gives: "At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the NCSC 1 (800) 375-5283 for additional information." New request number for I290b gives: "On August 19, 2013, we received this I290B NOTICE OF APPEAL TO THE COMMISSIONER, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case."
