FY2016 - total cap exempt reduced to 65,000?

    Thank you. I got it.
  5. Hi, Today I came across the USCIS website, It seems 20,000 US Master deg H1B application will be deduct from 65,000.So my understanding is total cab count is 65,000. Below line I copied from USCIS website. 'The congressionally mandated cap on H-1B visas for FY 2016 is 65,000. The first 20,000 H-1B petitions filed for individuals with a U.S. master’s degree or higher are exempt from the 65,000 cap.' Refer this link - http://www.uscis.gov/news/uscis-will-accept-h-1b-petitions-fiscal-year-2016-beginning-april-1-2015 Please help. Thanks!

Here is my H1B history, > I have applied my H1b through one consultancy on FY 2014, it picked in lottery but its denied due to E-E relationship doc unable to submit my employer and they didn't appeal my petition after denied. > Then again I have applied H1b through 4 different consultancy on FY 2015, 2 got picked in lottery but both got denied:( Employer A denial reason - I didn't have specialist skill it seems - Not filed MTR Employer B denial reason - Client letter missing - Filed MTR Here are my questions, 1) Can I apply H1b for FY2016? 2) Shall I apply H1b through 4 employer this year? 3) My employer A suggest me to dont file H1B this year, it seems I have bad H1B history? 4) How much chances I have to get approval if I apply this year.? 14. Hi, I got 2 employer to sponsor H1B for me. I searched in net to understand about both company then I noticed few points. I have question over that. If you can plz help me. Employer 1 - E-Verified and Federal Contractor is 'YES' Employer 2 - E-Verified and Federal Contractor is 'NO' 1) What is the basic difference Federal Contractor 'YES' and 'NO' based company ? 2) Is that E-Verified and Federal Contractor is 'YES' based company have more chances for H1B petitions are approved. Is that true? 3) Please suggest which one I need to consider to take it forward. Thanks in advance!
