What is to be filled in Principal Applicant Information In this section they are asking I-797 Form's Petition Number the EAC Number. So -- in the DS 160 Form in the "Travel Information Section" Would it be the H1B holder's name or Would it be the H4B Visa applicant's name Please advise ASAP. Thank you very much!!!

    H4 visa 221g @ HYD consulate

This is a rare case, I believe. Usually, the H4 visas are straightforward, although depends on case to case. @Canadain: Could you pls share your experience ? Why was the 221g issued ? This would help many folks on this forum Thanks much!
  3. While entering details in DS160 application form online, there is a Travel Information section. In this section, what is to be entered in the Principal Applicant Information Surnames: ??? (Whose name goes here ? The name of the dependent applying for H4 visa OR should I enter the name of the person who is on H1B and supporting the H4 visa applicant ? ) Given Names: (the dependent applying for visa OR the person who is on H1B supporing the dependent ? ) Application Receipt/ Petition Numbers: Pls provide your inputs ASAP. Thanks much!!!!!

Are you a PR in Canada ? How are you able to spend so much, as I heard living costs as much as it does in the US. Just curios, anyways, best of luck on your visa!!

    Bank Statements with no payment

Show him however you got paid.. like direct paycheck mailed to you, if available. If you have timesheets, showing them will help as well.
  7. At the canadian consulates, what are the documents precisely collected at the first counter after security clearance ? Because, I want to know, if the personnel @ Counter#1 collect the I-129 copy, would I need to carry an extra I-129 copy in case the VO asks during the interview ? Experts who already attended the interviews @ Canada and anyone , Please respond !! Thanks!!!

W2 required if we go for stamping in JAN??

As per my understanding the employers are usually supposed to provide their employees the W2s by Jan end of every year. But, usually its not the case with every company. Just wait and see when you get your 12 W2. But, whatever you have received is the proof that you have. Most recent paystubs play better role, in the absence of W2... if you do not have your W2, better keep the past 12 mo paystubs??!
  11. Hi vamsi Thanks for such a great post! Couple questions What documents are collected at the entrance right after the security clearance ? Do you give the employment verification letter right at this point ? If the VO asks for this document again during the interview what would we do ?? Please let me know . Thanks much !!!

Successful stamping - Toronto Nov 5th

Ok regarding i94 you need to submit your current i94 at the time of your next exit from the US that you have which you received when you last entered the US. When you re enter the US next time you will be given a new I94 which you should keep with you at all times until you exit the country later. The reason your required to do this for the fact that you are not violating the visa laws and immigration rules and so that you are not overstaying in the US. That's it !! Bcoz of this simple reason you MUST make sure you are submitting I94 without fail. Or else the DHS will have no proof that you left the country in timely manner !! I hope this clarifies

Ottawa Oct 29 - Administrative Process?

The link doesn't post well here. However, all that the link said was.. that PIMS database is updated by your employer when they filed the petition. However, the VO has the responsibility to issue every H1B visa issuance only after he has verified the PIMS database. Now, this verification process ranges from a day to a week to a couple of weeks. This situation is completely dependent on how the data was updated into the Database @ KCC (Kentucky Consular Center). If this info is not available there, USCIS is requested for this info and the total process tends to go from a week to a couple of weeks. This is what what is said the link I pasted above. So, @Ottawa29OctWaiting4PassP : I hope you have received your PP by now. If so pls share the info on how long the entire process took you. @Leonard: Your case is 221g (white)... so I believe this might be a separate scenario from what Ottawa29OctWaiting4PassP user is facing. I hope I was not wrong! Leaving the rest to the experts here..
