  1. @Harika07 - did u submit client letter in your case or visa was approved without client letter(with other supporting docs) Hello Everyone, Need urgent help. My Husband(9th year on H1B, 140 approved) travelled to India due to family emergency. He was eligible for drop box hence submitted docs accordingly. He was asked to apprear for Interview with consular officer. After interview, consular officer issued 221g white slip asking him to submit End Client Letter on their letterpad from personnel dept. Here Issue is, End Client has refused to issue client letter as its not per their policy. We are in EVC model. Vendor has provided WO - work order which clearly mentions Client name. Please guide. H1B Extension EVC Model No Client Letter

We were in similar situation. No client letter hence got RFE, asked to submit more documents which we submitted immediately and finally got extension. You will be fine.
  4. Hi All, My Husband is working on H1B visa from last 8 years in EVC model. We as a family are planning to go for visa stamping at mumbai consulate in the month of october. Client letter which He got is given by manager in the month of june 2014, 4 months ago (as earlier we were planning to visit india in july but postponed). In August, Due to restructuring, his manager got changed , few policy changes & new manger has refused to give new client letter. Is it ok, if asked we present old client letter by previous manager to visa officer?. My husband is working for the same client, same project only his manager/supervisor changed. Is client letter given by previous manager acceptable? We have all the related required documents from vendor, employer etc. Please suggest. Thanks in advance.
