  1. Hi, I was laid-off from a management consulting company on Aug 8, 2014. My current H1b and I-94 is valid until Oct 1, 2014. Am I legal in the country? Till what date can I stay in the country? There is a small Indian consulting company(A) who is willing to file H1 for me? I am also expecting a job offer from another IT company (B)? If company A files for regular processing and in the meantime if I get an offer from company B with whom I file for premium processing. Can 2 employers file H1 petiton for me? If company B files under premium processing then will the petition from company A affect my petition from B? Any help is greatly appreciated. Best Regards,
  2. Hi, I was working full-time with one of the management consulting firms and got laid-off on August 8, 2014. A small consulting company (A) is ready to do the H1 but does not have the client letter to support. They are ready file the H1b in regular processing and by the time USCIS comes back with RFE they said I will be placed at the client site. Also, I am expecting to get a couple of job offers by the time the H1 is processed from company A. At that point, can the new employer file another H1 in premium processing and get it approved? I am hearing mixed reviews that simultineously 2 H1b petitions are not allowed by USCIS even if it is from different employers. Note: I already have an H1 and therefore I will be cap-exempt now. Any help is greatly appreciated. Best Regards

    Mumbai - Case StatusTracker

I received an email from the consulate on June 11 to submit my passport for final processing. I received my passport back today (June 15) with another yellow slip for further administrative processing. Can someone please suggest what should I do now? What options do I have? Please let me know if someone is in the same situation..

Hi Jas_on_H1, I have a similar case, Interview was on Jan 19, yellow slip and no documents asked. No updates as of yet and USCIS website shows that case is not sent for review. Can anyone suggest if anything can be done or we need to wait for the barcode to appear? Thanks, Amit
