How long does it take to certify the LCA? I heard it would take 5-7 working days. My employer is saying my LCA is pending for approval from more than 2 weeks. Is this something normal? Please give your input on this. Thanks

Personal checks must be pre-printed with the name of the bank and the account holder. Also, the account holder’s address and phone number must be pre-printed, typed or written in ink on the check. All checks must be typed or written in ink. Above is the instruction from USCIS. I sent out the check without having account holder name, address and phone number. Will that be a problem??

Hello Friends, I recently send out documents for H4 EAD. I send the check of amount 380 dollars from my local bank payable to 'U.S. Department of Homeland Security'. Below is the instructions given by USCIS for sending checks. One of colleague said we can only send the cashier's check or money order, we can't send personal checks. "The check or money order must be drawn on a bank or other financial institution located in the United States and must be payable in U.S. currency; and Make the check or money order payable to U.S. Department of Homeland Security" Is this true?? If it is what will happen to my application and what would be my next to avoid another 3 months after rejection? Please help me. Thanks

If possible try to postpone your visa as we are not sure when this would be resolved, hopefully soon. But if it's not urgent for you...dont come and get struck here as we are. Thanks, Ashok. -
Thank you very much Sri.
