  6. Hi Vimal, Have you mentioned that you got ticket in USA in your visitor visa application form for Canada? If so, did the VO asked anything about it before he stamped your canadian visa?
  7. Hi kkp1238, Did you received your passport? Please let me know when you have received your passport.
  8. Currently I am working in USA. I am planning to go to Vancouver for my H1B visa stamping. Before that I am planning to visit my grand mother in India(she is sick and I want to meet her soon). Will there be any problem if I enter Canada dircetly from India? Also, is there any chance VO asking why I have not done stamping in India?
  9. Hi Vmall, Do we have to get the H1B visa appointment before going for Canadian visa stamping? Will the Canadian VO ask about the appointment letter? Thanks

Vmall and vancouver020112, Thank you so much for your quick response. I have one more question. I am planning to go to Vancouver for my H1B visa stamping. Before that I am planning to visit my grand mother (she is sick and want to meet her soon). Will there be any problem if I enter Canada dircetly from India? Also, is there any chance VO asking why not stamping in India?

Just got a DUI.Will it affect my H1B stamping chances ?

Thank you so much Vmall for the quick reply. How about other Canadian counsalates? Is there a higher preference for Vanvouver over other Canadian counsalates? I stay in Massachusetts and Vanvouver is too far.
  12. I have once plead guilty for driving without license in MA. This happened before 3 years. I was NOT arrested nor finger printed. I was given a citation and asked to appear in court and I did appeared and paid the fine. There is a question in DS-160: Have you ever been arrested or convicted for any offense or crime, even though subject of a pardon, amnesty, or other similar action? Should I say YES or NO for the above question? Also, if I say YES what are the documents I should carry for the interview process. For my case which counsalate is preferable (Chennai or Vancover or any other counsalate)? Thanks in advance for the help.

My case is similar to (Vmall). I have once plead guilty for driving without license in MA. This happened before 3 years. I was NOT arrested nor finger printed. I was summoned to appear in court and I did appeared and paid the fine. There is a question in DS-160: Have you ever been arrested or convicted for any offense or crime, even though subject of a pardon, amnesty, or other similar action? Should I say YES or NO for the above question? Also, if I say YES what are the documents I should carry for the interview process. For my case which counsalate is preferable (Chennai or Vancover)? Also, you have not mentioned which counsalate you attended on Nov 2009. Thanks in advance for the help.

    Lost I-797A with new I-94

I am H4 visa holder. I lost my most recent I-797A along with the new I-94 attached with it. I am planning on travelling out of the country next month. Do i need my latest I-94 or would it be sufficient if i provide my original I-94 along with a copy of the latest I-94? Will I have any problems at the time of departure and at the time of coming back in to the country?
