RFE in H1B Transfer Premium Processing (Vermont)

@tab611 @prashanth_ravula The website sometimes does not reflect the change immediate. I will say count 15 calendar days right from the date the submission was received by USCIS for RFE.

    Paycheck and H1B Visa

Hello, I am not very sure with the paycheck and H1B visa rules but here is my scenario. I am working for Employer A and my H1B is transferred successfully to Employer B. My start date at Employer B is December 1. I have put down my resignation at Employer A asking them for my last date to be Friday Nov 28. But Nov 27 and 28 being thanks giving weekend - my Employer A has decided to keep Wed Nov 26 as last working date and final pay until that date too. They mentioned that my benefits will also stop on Nov 26. I wanted to know as with this scenario - I will be out of any paychecks between Nov 27 through Nov 30. Will this affect me in future for validating my H1B visa. Also is it valid for the benefits to end on Nov 26? Thanks

RFE in H1B Transfer Premium Processing (Vermont)

@chayan2014 At least consider yourself lucky that the case status is updated and notified that they have started working. Since it is PP - you should count 15 days from today and expect a reply. In fact I would expect a reply very soon. My case was never updated to this but remember things are updated at delay on USCIS website. Stay Positive !!

RFE in H1B Transfer Premium Processing (Vermont)

Hello Chayan2014 I was in a similar case. When my RFE was submitted to USCIS on August 18th, the status on online tracking never changed to anything. Infact even today the status says - RFE. However we received an email from USCIS on Friday that the petition is approved. So do not count on online status change but yes you can definitely count on the 15 days since the day the shipment was received by USCIS.

RFE in H1B Transfer Premium Processing (Vermont)

I have not heard anything. I do not know the reason for RFE too, however it seems it was related to the company.

    H1B transfer normal processing

@samy123 - I will recommend that you do not resign at your current employer until the H1B transfer is approved and a decision is made. Though you can start working once the notice is received, it is always advisable to wait till it is done.

  11. Hi, I had my Visa Interview at Mumbai on 29th Nov and was issues a yellow slips stating its Administrative Processing. The VO told me that the visa is granted and no documents needs to be submitted. I was told to keep monitoring the barcode number on the website and submi the passport as soon as it is displayed. I am still waiting. I am not sure what exactly is this processing and what is the exact time frame. I hope it gets resolved asap. I will keep you updated with my case
  12. I had my interview on 29th November and the interview went really good. The VO said that I am granted the H1-B visa and he started typing somethings on his system. He then said that there is some system error from VFS that is not allowing me to take your passport today for stamping. He gave me a Yellow Slip with a tick mark on Administrative Processing and informed me that I would need to keep looking for my CEAC barcode on the counsulate website. As soon as the barcode appears, I would need to submit my passport and the visa will be stamped. I wanted to check if there is anyone in the same boat or had faced any similar situations before. If yes, how much time does it take from now to have the passport stamped. Any response and information will be highly appreciated.

    Mumbai - Visa Dates Availibility

You need to submit your document in Mumbai between the 5th working day to the 3rd working day before your visa interview. Say your interview is on Friday, the last day when you can submit your document will be the Wednesday before it.
