Dear Seniors My receipt number for my I485 starts with an EAC number for my family and myself. I know that this is a Vermont Service center but I have rarely seen any approvals for people from this service center. I am concerned whether there will be a transfer of my I485 to another service center or what. Any inputs on my case?

Hi I had received my EAD/AP combo card in the mail on 5/24/2015. For some reason I seem to have lost the card. What should I do? What is the process to request another document? How much will it cost? Please help!!

Dear Seniors I need help in understanding my situation. We have a I485 that is pending adjudication in EB3 category with previous employer A. Now my current employer B, has filed for I140 in EB2 category which is still pending approval. My question to the seniors is that once my I140 in EB2 category gets approved, does my old pending I140/485 petition of EB3 category become non existent and Void? My worry is that what if my current employer B decides to end my employment, does that mean we become illegal? We have been renewing EADs & APs since 2007. We are scared and trying to make sure we do not get out of status. Please help us with our options senior!! Andisash

I guess my question is if the priority date of my EB3 GC process gets ported to the new EB2 processing, will my EB3 petition get cancelled?? Please help me seniors!!

Thank you Jairichi. But what if my I140 with company B gets approved and then they end my employment there. Will my EB3 petition (I485) that is still pending adjudication get cancelled automatically or will the EB3 continue to be under process? Sorry if i am asking silly questions.

Seniors, please help!!! My husband is the primary for our GC process. I485 was applied in 2007 and since then we are on EAD & AP. Priority date is 2005 EB3. His labor was filed on a substitute pre-approved labor. He has never worked for that company. His current company of 3 years is filing for a new labor to upgrade to EB2. My question is, at the time adjudication, orंं when his case opens, he may be asked to show his pay stubs and W2 from the original company who first filed his labor. Since he never worked for that company, he has none of those documents. Will his case be rejected? Seniors, please advise!! We have grown up kids whose future depends on our GC. What should we do?? We are very disturbed.

While he was working for company C, company A filed for his Labor & I140. They filed for his 485 in July 2007. In march 2008 he left Company C & joined company B. Ever since, he has been on EAD & AP along with family. Now company B filed for labor in EB2. I am seeking advise on his case. What risks do we have and what can we do if any risks?

Our Lawyer informed us that USCIS may ask us for that information which we dont have as my husband never worked for the company. Seniors, can you please advise?

Dear Senior My Husband's EAD renewal process is past 100 days now. He is the primary petitioner in our employment based I485 petition. I (a dependent on his GC process) recently got my renewed EAD card a month ago in 90 days. But my Husband's EAD card is taking so long to get approved. His renewal was filed by his lawyer. No EAD yet! Senator Warren office also called for an update from the USCIS for out petition but no update as of now! What should i do?

Hi Seniors. My current EAD card is expiring in 2 days and I am on the last stage of getting a new job. Our lawyer filed for a Renewal 90 days ago and I still haven't received the new card. Online status continues to show "Initial Review". My concern is, this new company is going to run a background check and on seeing that my current EAD is expiring in 2 days, they may not offer me the job. I have the filing receipt notice in hand. Hi Seniors I am upgrading my Green Card process from the EB3 to EB2 category. My question to you is If my petition in EB2 gets denied, does my original EB3 process continue as before or does that get affected as well? Thank you.

My son came to US in 2005 H4 visa and is now in EAD status from 2009 onwards (a derivative beneficiary of GC process). His I94 still has the original status of H4 as he never traveled out of US till date since then. He does not qualify for FAFSA student loan as he is neither on an F1 visa nor a GC holder. As advised by some, If he travels outside US and re-enters with a new I94 and on a parolee status, he may qualify for FAFSA student loan. My question to the experts is if he travels to Canada on AP and re-enters US, will he get a new I94 with visa showing him as a Parolee? Please advise at the earliest,seniors!

Hi Experts My Labor and approved I140 was filed by company A with whom I never worked. My I485 was filed in 2007, got my EAD (working on it) and since then I have been renewing it several times. I have been working with company B from the past 4 years. I am no longer in touch with Company A and I presume they will not support my case any longer. What precautions do I need to take to ensure no problems arise at the time of my Adjudication. My case is under EB3 category with PD March 2005. Please send me your suggestions.
