Great news - Hold on H.R. 3012 lifted

is it posted any where that there are other holds on this Bill? is it official?
  2. If the hold is lifted now does that it means it get passed in the Senate now and pending would be the president sign to bring the law.
  3. Iooks like the hold was liftted on this Bill today by senator of IA, does that mean this is good to go and we would see the changes very soon> http://www.grassley.senate.gov/news/Article.cfm?customel_dataPageID_1502=41746
  4. If a person has EAD(pending i-485 ) along with his wife and if he gets divorced from her and remarry , can he include his new wife into his existing application and get her EAD? Does interfiling applies here?
  5. I have 3yrs bachelors + 1 yr Diploma, both from Osmania Univ, India. My current job decription says " bachelors degree + 7yrs expereince", I wud like to know if i am eligible to file EB2 and then port by EB3 PD. My attorney says my indian bachelors is not considered as bachelors in USA but when i did my education evaluation for my MBA program it came out as equivalent to US bachelors degree, how should i proceed? BTW. I also have masters from USA though i understand my job requirement shud have masters but just want to share that with you all. Attorney's , please HELP!!
  6. Guys, I am really fed up with this process. my PD is 2005 Nov under EB3 not sure when it will be become current to add my wife to my GC application. I not worried about when it gets approved but wud like to add my wife so that she get some job. Does anyone has any idea about what wud happen and how long i have to wait? Is it ok if I try filing GC(EB2) and then port my EB3 at this moment, I wud have done that some time ago i really didnt want to quit my current job for doing so but now i have decided to take this risk so that at least both of us can start working, Please advise.
  7. JoeF, my PD is 2005 under EB3, do you know approx when it can become current. I know its hard to tell but just a guess?
  8. But i have Bachelors + 7 yrs of exp excluding my current employer, does that qualify me for EB2?
  9. I am looking to apply GC under EB2 as i think I am now eligible for it by getting a masters degree (MBA) here and also having 9 years of expereince. My current employer was willing to file GC application but our company attorney told them that i am not eligible because my 3yrs indian degree + 1 year indian diploma would not count as american bachelors and also because my current job description does not require a masters degree. I am not sure how much of these 2 statements is valid may be attorneys on this forum can give the correct answer for me. Let me know the options i have in this situation. Thanks so much
  10. I have searched many forums but still confused whether i can add my wife to my application or do i have to wait untill my PD(Sept 2005) becomes current. Some attorney say i can add and some say i can not but i still would like to take a chance and try adding her, i dont see any harm in doing that. Also i found this statement on uscis.gov website http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.eb1d4c2a3e5b9ac89243c6a7543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=74da83453d4a3210VgnVCM100000b92ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=74da83453d4a3210VgnVCM100000b92ca60aRCRD Family of EB-3 Visa Holders Your spouse may be admitted to the United States in E34 (spouse of a “skilled worker†or “professionalâ€) or EW4 (spouse of an “other workerâ€). 11. I just got my EAD renewal card but i didnt realise that my AP was also expired and came to know that now uscis is giving a combo card for EAD and AP together. 1.If i apply AP now, is there a chance to get combo card on request? 2.are we getting AP for 2 yrs or same 1yr now?
  12. Hi everyone. I working on my EAD(pending I-485)and the PD for my GC application is sept 2005, as you know it might take for ever to get my GC and as i got married after applying my I-485, my wife could not work now and we are really trying hard to get her work status. -------------------------------------- MY Education & Exp--- - 3 yrs bachelors in India - 8yrs of work expereince in IT(database) - Finished my MBA 6 months ago in USA --------------------------------------- In this situation i approached my employer to file for a fresh GC under EB2 for which they agreed but the our attorney mentioned that they can not file as i am not eligible for EB2 i have 3 yrs indian degree and my MBA would not really change my eligibility for EB2. Attorneys...Please let me know if that is TRUE and shed some light to find other possible ways to get a work status for my wife.
