  1. Hi Everyone, Been 17 years on H1B and 14 years since the GC process was started by my first employer. Got our Green Cards today 03/10/2021 in the mail without an Interview. EAD and I485 both were filled in July 2020. Freinds there is light at the end of the tunnel so keep tight. Thanks a lot to Murthy forum to be a great source of knowledge and guidance. Keep up the amazing work!
  2. Hi Friends, This is for Employment-based GC (EB3 - India). I got my EAD sometime back (I140 and I765 are approved). Today 03/02/2021 my status for I485 shows "New Card Is Being Produced" without an Interview. Please help me understand if this means if I should be expecting GC in the mail. Thank you for your help!!
  3. Hi Everyone, I have been working on H1B. In early March my company filed for the H1B amendment from full time to part-time H1B. Got RFE on H1B amendment and now the amendment has been answered. My current full-time H1B expires on August 13, 2020. Starting May 1st I was furloughed and will be back to work for a few hours a week starting August 3rd. My company is willing to file for part-time H1B extension but can only hire me for a few hours due to the current situation. Questions: 1. I will have my paystubs on August 12th. If part-time H1B extension is filed on August 12th and my Current H1B expires on August 13th am I on time for filing? 2. Is it okay to present only one current pay stub as I do not have paystubs for May, June and July 2020 Need your help and suggestions at the earliest. Thank you to all for being always for me and my family during crunch times!!
  4. My amendment has been filed but my previous H1B is stamped. Please advise if I can travel outside the US is the amendment is still pending and return back to US-based on my previously stamped H1B.
  5. Thanks, Gopalkrishna! Been on US on H1B for 16+ yrs. My priority date is current. Unable to understand if I should stay with this company at half the pay or lookout for better opportunities and start the GC somewhere else.
  6. Hi Everyone, My current H1B is stamped till August 20th, 2020. Business is slow and my employer is reducing my hours of work to 25 hrs/week from 40 hrs/week. My salary will be half of what I was getting paid. They are ready to file for an amendment and extension to my current H1B and pay half the salary. My GC priority date is current (previous employer) and LCA (Current employer) was filled in November. I have a couple of questions for the group: 1) Is this something normal for an H1B to be amended and would it have any impact on my Green Card process 2) I have a Cancun trip planned for April. If the amended H1B is approved. Will I need to get the stamping done again or I can re-enter the US on my previously stamped H1B Friends you have been really helpful in the past. Please see if you can help me with these above concerns. Thank You,
