i had interview in last month, it went well but it took 4 weeks to receive to passport. if your case is clear and nothing is wrong, you will get approved and receive passport in 3-5 business days. My visa questions related to my employer, client and masters degree. I have done one mistake which caused 4 weeks delay. i filled DS-160 with my old I-797 number, i recently amended my H1B so i brought new I797 with me to interview and i told them(Visa consulate people) i recently got new I797 so they corrected it in their systems and visa approved. all this new I-797 thing confused them and they took 4 weeks to process and issue passport but if your case is clear and straight forward, you will get it in a week. i have one misdemeanor which didn't affect anywhere.
