Reaching out with a HUGE SOS call with regards to my H1 to H4 COS application. My 60 day H-1 grace period is set to expire 5/31. Finalizing my I-539 paperwork and getting it out of the door by Monday 5/10. Cannot afford to risk traveling to India, given the Covid outbreak and really getting worried about what am hearing with regards to how long USCIS is taking to send receipt notices (weeks to months if I'm not mistaken). In case I do not end up getting the USCIS receipt notice inside the 60 day window, what are my best options to maintain status without having to go for Consular appointment. Is one of the below reasonable to rely on ? > Using a Fedex receipt of delivery and acceptance as proof to continue to retain status without exiting the country. > Filing G-1145, E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance, for email / text receipts of acknowledgement if that's an option Kindly advise !
