  1. @RK111 It depends on individual case I believe. My 221g is issued on 12/23/20 but still no progress or movement.
  2. What are the flight route options from India to Mexico? Transit in Europe is not allowed right?
  3. Srinivas US Embassy India Twitter account posted this 20 hours ago. I am not sure if Minor children means under 18 or under 21. Please check. Non-U.S. citizen parents of minor US citizen children, including parents holding valid H-1B & H-4 visas, are not subject to travel suspension and may enter the United States without receiving an exception. Please be prepared to present proof of relationship to airline officials.
  4. With DOS recent (8/12) National Interest Exceptions to Presidential Proclamations (10014 & 10052) for H1-B's, does anyone know how to request an emergency appointment with US Consulate or how to proceed further? If an individual qualifies under following national interest exception ? Travel by applicants seeking to resume ongoing employment in the United States in the same position with the same employer and visa classification. Forcing employers to replace employees in this situation may cause financial hardship. Consular officers can refer to Part II, Question 2 of the approved Form I-129 to determine if the applicant is continuing in “previously approved employment without change with the same employer.”
  5. @Sindhu Soundararajan I think you can travel back as you have valid visa until Dec-2020. Please check requirements by Air India or MHA website
  6. @uirams Looks like you are not following the recent news. Trump's recent EO & Proclamation on June 22 will prevent you from getting H1B visa stamped until Jan 2021. US consulates will not issue any new H1B Visas until Jan 2021 (even if the consulates re-open - which no one is sure about). Hope this helps....
  7. @harish shankaranTechnically you can but I would not risk it.
  8. Is this Proclamation only for first time new H1B Visa stamp applicants or does this apply to 2nd and 3rd time Visa stamp applicants as well?
  9. Just wondering if Trump's June 22 proclamation only applies to first time new H1B Visa stamp applicants or will it apply to everyone who is waiting to get their visa stamped? This is my 3rd time going for H1B visa stamping and I have a 221 (g) to attend in person interview after Dropbox in March
  10. @curiousness I do not think I-797 counts as an official travel document. Checkout following links: Can I know when is your visa appointment scheduled? (as the consulates are currently closed in India) https://www.uscis.gov/travel-documents
  11. @Shashank kashinath The sooner you both leave to US, the better. I doubt if international flights will allow you to board the flight with just one or two month valid visa
  12. @Indra1 No new H1B Visas will be granted from June 24 to Dec 31 as per the Proclamation
  13. @ramsinghdot Did you book your visa appointment for November & can you see the dates?
  14. @ramsinghdot Can you let me know which months interview slots are visible to you currently?
  15. @AbhayCharan What is your information source? Or is it just your speculation?
