  4. I have approved I-140 with priority date 2013. I am going for maternity leave FMLA for 12 weeks. I was wondering if using paid FMLA for maternity leave (10-12 weeks) from state (my company doesn’t have maternity insurance) would affect approval of my family’s GC petition in the future with new Public Charge Rule in place? Thanks in advance for your help.
  5. March 30: FMLA requested from July 4 to Aug 14 for pregnancy. April 6: Husband is infected +ve Covid 19 April 6: I requested unpaid leave to take care my husband and daughter. Husband is still sick and try to recover but company is asking me to start work based on my H1b visa. Who gonna take care my daughter in this critical situation? I requested further unpaid leave till my husbannd recover but they are saying based on H1b is difficult. Is there any law/rule I can stay unpaid leave till my husband recover? HR is asking if you know anything then send us link so we can extend your unpaid leave. Thanks
  6. Hi I am on H1b visa and 27 month pregnant. I already applied for my maternity FMLA a month ago. Recently my husband is affected by covid 19 positive and he is under medication and quarantine. I am pregnant and have to take care my husband and 5 year daughter. My company has work and they are not laid off anyone but in my situation how long I can stay unpaid leave. Not worried about paid but has to take care family. Is it affect my status? What are option I have? Need guidance. Thanks in advance.
