Green Card Holder Baby Born while outside US - NA3

Hello,

 

I sponsored GC for my wife and she visited US for the first time in October 2015. When she went back in November 2015 to visit India, she found out that she was pregnant. Doctors advised us not to travel long distances and hence baby is going to be delivered in India in July 2016. My wife has conditional GC. Will we be able to bring our child back to US on the basis of just birth certificate, as mentioned in the following link? My wife will be completing her one year outside the US in November 2016. Do we need her to travel back with child before November 2016?
