h1b revoked + valid visa+ stamping

I was working in company A and they revoked h1b on 4/25/2016, company A got new project and they are applying new h1b petition through consular processing.

i have valid visa stamp on passport till 5/2018.my attorney saying i need to attend visa interview in India.

 

do i need to attend visa interview with new i797?

or

seek a new admission at the port of entry with the old valid visa and new valid I-797 approval for H-1B.



Please advice.

That's not true. Have you overstayed your H1 I94 at any time? If not I will chalk this down to a communication barrier with a paralegal.
