1st time H1B visa stamping outside home country

Hi all,

 

I'm transferring from OPT to H1B in October 2016 and would like to get my first H1B visa stamping sometime around 10/01/2016 outside my home country (Taiwan). My understanding is that Canada is an option, but I'm personally planning to have it done somewhere in Europe. While I'm aware that UK may accept H1B visa application from a third country national, I was wondering about the options with other European countries. I'll enter Europe as a tourist.

 

I'd make calls to each and every consulates to ensure their acceptance, but 26+ countries may be a bit too big to handle. Hence, I'd like to get an idea first.

I am not sure about this. I am in the same boat as you are in and looking for stamping done in Canada or Europe. Please update the post if you have decided any and will reciprocate if any.

Hi, I am also in the same boat, but I am not F1, i am working here on H1b from last 5yrs but never had H1b stamping and going to Europe on business trip not visit.

 

Could you please help me how does the stamping process work.
