h1b stamping after switching employer and petition approved

I have a visa stamped until 2018. I switched my employer and the new petition was approved without a new i-94.

 

I have to leave the country and return to get new I-94 at the US port of entry

 

Do I need to get new visa stamped even if i have a valid visa stamped but with my previous employer's name on it?

You can use the existing visa to return. Did you discuss this with the company HR?

Nope. You can use existing visa stamp from old employer and return back.
