bsadagopan
Hi, I am currently on h1b and would be travelling to India with my wife. While coming back we would be bringing her parents along (they already got their Visitor Visa) to visit USA for couple of months. Wondering, will there be any issue at Port of Entry with all 4 entering at the same time. Myself (h1b) My wife (h4) and both parents (visitor visa). Has anyone else had similar experience and if so can you please share if there would be any issue ? Link to comment
pontevecchio
There will be no issue. Make sure to go with your spouse and have them go together. Do not go in a group of 4. Send them first and then you go. On what basis are you expecting any issues? Link to comment
pingpong
No matter how you approach POE officer, He/She will take a decision based on the facts presented. Your parents will be subject to questions which judge what their intention of travel to US is. Will they be a risk to the security of US, potential immigrants and all that mambo jumbo. As H1/H4, you are already expected to immigrate at some point so potential immigrant is out of question. He/She will check to see if your petition is still valid, employment status, etc. Most probably your parent will be asked to approach POE separately and you and your spouse together. It all depends on the POE officer/s Link to comment
