msruthibala Posted April 27, 2016 Report Share Posted April 27, 2016 I came to US as H4 in MAR15 and got H1B approved in NOV15. DOB was incorrect in I94 portion of I797. (Filed with correct DOB). My employer sent mail to USCIS requesting correction. I have not received any response for 4 months. My status is still showing as H4 and not H1B in SSN office(Unable to apply SSN).Need further direction. Link to comment
