shekar11# Posted April 21, 2016 Report Share Posted April 21, 2016 Successful stamping in Matamoros, Mexico 04/11 - ASC (Monday). 04/12 - VISA Interview We were a total of 5 (1 family and 3 independent H1B's) attending the interviews on the following days 1. ASC Appointment (4/11) : Biometrics was at 9AM, took only 5 minutes. Please carry Passport and DS-160 Confirmation. No belts, Ear rings, digital Watch and no prohibited items 2. USC Appointment (4/12) : Appointment at 8 AM, reached the consulate at 7.45AM. Initially they checked passport/DS-160/I-797 and asked to be seated for the interview. Interview QuestionsVO: asked who is ur Employer?Me: Told company name completely VO: What do you do to your company?Me: Gave my designation. VO: Are you renewing the visa with same company Me: Yes. Vo: How much does your employer pays you and asked for latest Tax returns Me: Pay on employer letter and latest W-2. VO: Asked me to come and collect the passport at 3.00 PM and gave me yellow slipME: Licence and yellow Slip My interview took 10 minutes. Came to consulate at 3 pm along with other 4 other people. they issued passport all of us at 3PM on same day of VISA. Crossing the border and I-94 took around 1 hour. They asked the address in USA, I797 and employer details. I highly recommend going to Matamoros with Salvador services, as the process is quick and easy and he made us feel like home.
