I-693 RFE but priority date not current

Hi,

 

We got an RFE to update our medical forms I-693 which we have submitted now. However, our priority date is not current. I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience, and what the implications are for our I-485.

How far out is the PD? It may be that the PD becomes current soon for you. Examiners often check the applications a few months before the PD is expected to become current, so that when the PD becomes current, all they have to do is approve them.

If you dont respond to an RFE by the date stipulated your 485 maybe deemed abandoned and there is no way to re instate it. So stop fishing around forums and get that 693 done and send it over.
