sravankollapudi
My wife's I-94 expires on 27-Mar (due to passport validity). We renewed the passport, applied for new H-4 and received a new I-94 with start date as 10-June (based on my H1) instead of 28-Mar. Attorney mentioned they specified this I-94 start date requirement as 28-Mar in the application but USCIS seem to have overlooked it. She has a valid EAD and would like to know if she will be out of status from 28-Mar or not? We have a slightly complicated situation and looking for alternatives. Thanks in advance. Link to comment
pontevecchio
If you had asked the lawyer, she would have told you that the fact that she got an I94 means the USCIC considers her to have been in status. Link to comment
rohang
only other option i can think of: she can go out of country and come back with H4 stamped (based of your existing valid h1b). Link to comment
