Does any one know how long it takes from the time the DOS receives 612 / 613 forms does it take to finish the adjudication process?  these are the case numbers i found that have been approved whose 612/613 has been received on the date mentioned next to the app #:  It took any where between 1 month to 3.5 months to get the hardship apps approved.  Has any one seen if there is a speed up in DOS app processing times lately?

Hi,

Does anyone know when DOS makes a decision after i see "post input" item on the waiver site? Here is the timeline:

Item Action Date Post Input Received February 26, 2016 Letter of Need Received February 24, 2016 Form I-612 Received February 18, 2016 Form I-613 Received February 18, 2016 Fee Received October 07, 2015 Form DS-3035 Received October 07, 2015 Form DS-2019 Received October 07, 2015 Passport Data Page Received October 07, 2015 Form G-28 Received October 07, 2015 Statement Of Reason Received October 07, 2015

Can you please update on your case? What was the basis for hardship? I submitted application on November 2015 and it is till pending. I would appreciate if you share your experience.

Rags, will you please share how you got the case numbers posted above? Here is my timeline:

Item Action Date Request for Sponsor Views Sent January 19, 2016 Sponsor Views Requested January 19, 2016 Form I-612 Received August 10, 2015 Form I-613 Received August 10, 2015 Fee Received April 15, 2015 Form DS-3035 Received April 15, 2015 Form DS-2019 Received April 15, 2015 Passport Data Page Received April 15, 2015 Form G-28 Received April 15, 2015 Statement Of Reason Received April 15, 2015 Other Received April 15, 2015 Unknown Sent April 15, 2015

I am still waiting. As you may have noticed, I-612 and I-613 were both received by DOS on August 10, 2015. DOS waited more than 5 months to request "Sponsor Views" on January 19, 2016. Two months later ( the sponsor's views have still not been received.  The whole process is extremely frustrating. All you can do is wait and pray for the best, I guess.

Mine is a health related hardship app.  And i got those case numbers from hardship waiver status check website.  I have a script that search some numbers and gave the list of approved whose 612/613 forms are received from USCIS.  Yes it is frustrating wait.  status emails is useless.  They just give standard response.  We can only hope and pray they process on time, in many cases they dont, unfortunately.

Hi Guys:

Mine is hardship waiver. 612/613 received on October 27, 2015.

Department of state decision states still pending however, item line records that recommendation was sent on 15 th of March, 2016.

I don't know what the hell is going on here. Bit anxious because the decision has been made but not updated wether as favorable or not favorable.

Please advise.

Hi,

I looked up your case # 1092821.  And I am 99% sure your case is approved, just that it may not have updated the web site.  Write an email to DOS asking for a clarification.  Congratulations.

Most of the case numbers are correct except two. I checked my original list those 2 numbers were not there. I copied and pasted from the wrong file. So my list that I have with me is still good.

Oh BTW, sponsor reviews that are unacceptable might mean the actual international office response to usage of government funds question from DOS that may be unacceptable. When in doubt, DOS asks that from DS2019 funding source sponsor. At times people in international office might not respond to the actual question that DOS is asking, hence they are unacceptable. Likely they will ask again.

yeah, I saw most are approved.

I hope the unacceptable reviews doesn't mean there will be another round of them asking for them and taking months. I have looked at many other cases and never found this "unacceptable" status. I wanted to see if it might mean a denial or if someone has had a favorable recommendation despite the unacceptable reviews.

anyways, thanks for the info though. Good luck to you.

@rags

My J1 dates on the status site match yours exactly, except I do not have the Statement of Reason and Passport Data Page line items. Have you heard anything else? I found, on another forum, that they tend to update the site around 2AM (can't recall what time zone, but probably EST). Also, all the Case Numbers you have provided in an earlier entry are 7 digits. Mine is 6. Any idea about the discrepancy?

Any information would be much appreciated.

Thanks

oh, thats good to see. Although I know every case is different. But glad to see "unacceptable" doesnt necessarily mean a denial.

thanks a lot and good luck.

@yan,

Here are a few examples of unacceptable sponsor reviews which are pending and approved:

J1J1, Your case is approved to the best of my analysis.  DOS takes ~7 to 12 business days to get back to you. Check your USCIS case number status.  It takes any where between 1 day to a month max for USCIS to approve.  Unfortunately i cant say with 100% certainty that it is approved. By experience tells me it is.  Good Luck

@rags,

Hi, mine is still pending and the last activity showed in the DOS was post input at November 2015.

My visa will expire next month and donot know what i should do?

What does post input mean and do ii have to concern?

my case number start with 1077.

Thanks!

I looked up your case number # 1077217.  Your guess is as good as mine.  What is the basis of your hardship?  How many individuals in the family are affected and what are their visa / citizenship statuses.

Hi,

USCIS transferred my hardship case to DOS on March 14th (Case on Hold); however, the DOS status check system doesn't show that they received the forms I-612 and I-613.

How long does it take for DOS to update a case after USCIS send them information?

Thanks for the help!
