Promotion on H1 after I140 approval

Hi, my current employer has filed I140 for me and title as Programmer Analyst. Now I have been getting really good offers for higher level positions. So my question is,

 

Can I take Sr level position job at another employer and still file for 485 in future with this old I140 as Programmer analyst? Assuming employer will not revoke I140 and provides employment letter at that time.

You need to have the new employer file your PERM etc. and retain the PD.

I am thinking of filing 485 with my old employer's letter not the new employer. New emp will not file GC application for me.

If the GC sponsor has no objection and you will join them when the PD is current and the AOS is filed, this is possible. In any case your PD is possibly not imminent?

Yes my PD is 2013 but I cannot work for same employer for 10yrs without taking any promotions.

If the current I-140 will not be revoked then you can work elsewhere and use AC21 portability in future. I do not know your totality of circumstance. It would be beneficial for you to have a phone or personal consult with the firm of Murthy or any of your choice to discuss specifics.
