jvj2010
hi, I entered US with L1 visa validity until 2017, but i94 is issued with expiry date as January 2016. Can I stay in US after the i94 expiry date Jan 2016 as I have a valid VISA. or Do I have to re-enter the country to get the new i94. Please reply. Thanks. Link to comment
jairichi
No, you cannot stay beyond Jan 2016. You will need to exit and enter with a valid visa and I797. Link to comment
JoeF
No. The I-94 is what determines the allowed stay in the US. Link to comment
jvj2010
I went to New york office and they sent me to Newark airport with all the documentation from my employer and there is an office where they corrected the i94. Link to comment
pontevecchio
You possibly forgot to mention that it was a blanket L1? GIGO is a famous acronym. Link to comment
