H1B stamping with exisiting visa stamp until next year

Hi,

 

I have an existing H1b stamping, from my previous employer, valid until September 2016. I changed jobs and my new H1B i797 is valid till may 2018. I am traveling to India and wish to go for stamping, so I can get the visa stamping on my passport till 2018. Is it possible to get visa stamping when I already have one which is valid for one more year?
