Bhajagovindam
Prevailing wage determination is the first step in PERM Application. This is required to determine the wage for your position, location and so on. It'll take couple of months to get back from Dept of Labor. After that, they'll post ad and then recruiting period and that'll lead to submitting the labor application to DOL.. Link to comment
JoeF
You should ask your employer for clarification if you don't understand the process. This is a document stating what people in a position such as yours are generally paid in the area where the job is located. That's the "prevailing wage." This is calculated from tax reporting data that each employer has to send to IRS for each employee. Essentially, this is the minimum salary that you have to get paid when the GC is approved. JoeF
That depends on a lot of factors. I hope the employer has a lawyer for the process. Check with the lawyer for your specific situation. Link to comment
ashuneel
These are estimates only. Prevailing wage determination 45-60 days post ad and then recruiting period 60 days submitting the labor application to DOL and approval 6-8 months. I-140 15 days in premium processing or 4-6 months normal processing. Link to comment
