He would like to stay in India for the rest of his life, but would like to visit USA once in a while. If he does not renew his green card, can he then apply for a visitors visa? What are the chances of his getting a visitors visa? Is there a form/procedure to cancel the green card or can he let it expire without renewing? Link to comment
JoeF Posted October 7, 2015 Report Share Posted October 7, 2015 If he surrenders the GC, he can likely get a visitor visa. If he just lets it expire, then it would still be a sign that he intends to immigrate again, and getting a visitor visa would be hard. Link to comment
