F1 start date after Graduation date

Hello,

  This is regarding OPT eligibility.

Applied for H4 to F1 => March 9th 2015 

F1 approved => September 29th 2015
But,My i-94 start date for approved F1 was from Dec 25 2015.And im graduating in Dec 16th 2015. 
Since my F1 start date is after the graduation date, am i eligible for OPT ? and shall i apply for OPT in December 2015? 
My DSO officer is not having any idea and they are asking me to extend the course to next semester.

Please help me on this.

In order to get eligibility for OPT, you should be on F1 at least for 6 months.

That F1 isn't valid. You can't get an F1 after graduation.

You need to be on specific number is semesters in F1 status to be eligible for OPT. From what you have mentioned you are not.

But for OPT eligibility, we have to complete full time for 2 semesters and while applying OPT, we have to be in F1 right?

To apply for OPT, one has to complete full time for one year and while applying for OPT he has to be in F1.

Because it got approved in the middle of semester.so, they have given next semester start date

You can't get an F1 after graduation.

And since you aren't on F1 in time, you can't get OPT.
